Biography :
Amar Chowdry, better known by his stage name Jeeva, is an South Indian film actor, who has predominantly appeared in Tamil films. He is Son of film producer R. B. Chowdary, he started his career as a child actor in his father’s films in 1996. Hisprofessional career began seven years later with the First film Aasai Aasaiyai. He perform Wonder Role in the film Namely "Raam", for which he won the Best Actor Award at the Cyprus International Film Fest. E and Kattrathu Tamil.
Jeeva started his career as a child actor in two Film of his fathers productions. His debut(First) film as a lead was Aasai Aasaiyai. The films Thitthikkudhey and Raam followed. Raam was screened at Indian Panorama and later at the Cyprus International Film Festival, where it won two awards—the Best Actor award for Jeeva and the Best Musical Score Award for its music director, Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Later on Jeeva appeared in "Aran" where he played an Indian army soldier. He made his First Appearance in Malayalam cinema "Keerthi Chakra", Original Version of Aran. In 2006 he starred in E and in 2007 Kattrathu Tamil.His latest releases are Thenavattu and Siva Manasula Sakthi. The former is an action film while the latter is a romantic film.
Jeeva was born to film producer R. B. Choudhary and Mahjabeen, Tamil Nadu as the youngest of four sons. His eldest brother Suresh is the co-producer in their Super Good Films, second comes Jeevan, an entrepreneur in the steel industry. His third brother is Jitthan Ramesh, who is also an actor in the Tamil film industry. On 21 November 2007, Jeeva married his childhood friend Supriya at New Delhi.
